Information section has been renamed to Information
/ Resources. Additionally, a download part, offering maps and MIDI
music files played on =1FS= Web Site, has been added.

31 Aug 2001 - =1FS= Web Images Revision Project (IMGREVP)
The purpose of this project is to revise all ranks, medals and badges
images. The revision contains image conversion from JPG to GIF format and
adding transparent background to images. This will give more possibilities
of using those images in areas with non-black background.
Azzkikr started working on the image revision about two weeks ago.
Ranks
and Recognition sections have already been
updated with the new revised images (without ribbons).

Due to Staff structure adjustments (news from 04 Mar 2001) and thus
the dissolving of staff function SOO another adjustment is required. The
function "Staff Assistant NCO" will be new "Staff Officer", which assists
the UOC and especially the Tacticts and Training Officer (TTO). Scoless
carries this function and therefore has been promoted to a Commissioned
Officer.
