Background March 10, 2000, a bomb exploded in a car in COLOMBO, Sri Lanka capital and commercial center during the evening rush hour Friday, killing 15 people and injuring at least 46. Police believe that a suicide bomber intended to drive into a motorcade of government ministers and political leaders who were scheduled to leave Parliament shortly before the blast. The attack is are blamed on the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, the guerrilla group waging a 17 year insurgency for a separate homeland for the minority Tamils. 

The government of Sri Lanka has provided proof positive to the US State Department that an outlaw group of mercenaries made up of former US trained SpecOps personnel known as Short- Fuse (SF) has been engaged in the training of the terrorist Tamil Tigers. Additionally SF has been providing physical security and planning attacks and insurgent operations against the legitimate government of Sri Lanka. The US State Department views the involvement of SF in the Sri Lankan conflict an embarrassment to the US International Policy position and has committed to assist the COLOMBO government with a military solution in eliminating SF before the problem becomes a large scale international incident. =1FS= has been alerted to deploy to Sri Lanka to deal with the problem. The politics dictate that the "American problem" be handled by a Bravo heavy action. 
Objective Engage and eliminate the mercenary force at the bases where the rebels train and operate. By destroying SF before the Tamil Tigers can launch any more attacks, the US will not be tied to the actions of the Sri Lankan insurgents through their intermediaries, SF.
Intelligence Reports CIA reports that SF is a collection of former US Spec Ops trained operators. They are reputed to be without mercy or morals in achieving their goals. Several have actual combat experience in Central and South America, the Middle east and of course, Sri Lanka.

After Action Report Mission accomplished. -SF- defeated.

CPT Flect, field commander, delivered Bravo Team  to the enemy's base of operations and quickly established an aggressive attack. SF was surprised by the fury of the =1FS= force they encountered. Even though the OPPFOR utilized unconventional weapons, Bravo took the initiative at the onset and never fell behind from that point. The 2nd and 3rd actions were much the same story. The enemy was neutralized by a better trained and prepared =1FS= Team.
