| During the routine investigation of what at first looked
to be a common burglary/murder of a prominent software engineer in Northern
California’s Silicon Valley, FBI discovered the existence of a terrifying
new “cyber-weapon”. The weapon is an undetectable computer virus that has
been coded into computerized electronic system components of commercial
airliners. The virus was secretly imbedded into of thousands of new and
replacement aircraft computer systems hardware components. The virus is
activated by a simple radio command code that can be transmitted to an
“infected” aircraft on the same radio bands that any airliner receives.
With a single “execution” command, the virus shuts down all computerized
avionics and mechanical operating systems on targeted airliners. Inflight,
the targeted aircraft shuts down its systems, stalls and simply falls out
of the sky. It is believed that 90% of all commercial airliners in service
worldwide today have the virus in some one if not many of their onboard-computerized
systems. Any known anti-virus software cannot detect the virus. At this
moment, the deadly virus is simply waiting for an “execute” command to
destroy its host aircraft. Using such technology as leverage, a terrorist
organization can issue a demand, then threaten to take down a specific
commercial airline flight if the demands are not met. Of course, authorities,
not aware of this new weapon, would respond to the threat in conventional
ways, finding “nothing wrong”. With a single surreptitious radio command,
the terrorists could then “mysteriously” knock down the specifiedairliner,keeping
their promises and beginning their blackmail campaign.
The murdered software engineer developed the virus and orchestrated
the subsequent distribution of the virus into the world’s commercial aircraft
fleets. That accomplished, he was preparing to sell the “Execute Command”
technology to the highest terrorist bidder. FBI learned that he became
greedy, attempted to double cross the sponsor terrorist organization, and
was murdered for his trechery. His nearly completed work was then stolen
and is being finished by terrorist technical personnel at a secluded set
of bases. CIA has identified Usama Bin Ladin, founder of al-Qaida - the
Sunni Islamic extremist terrorist group, as the organization responsible
for the engineers murder and theft of the plans for the terror weapon,
code-named: SKYSWEEPER. Once the weapon is ready for use, Bin Ladin and
al-Qaida will not hesitate to use SKYSWEEPER. CIA has intercepted intelligence
that identifies Legion of Darkness, <LOD>, as a mercenary force. <LOD>
has been retained by Bin Ladin’s al-Qaida to provide physical security
at three sites where the final development of the new terror weapon is
nearing completion. If the terrorists succeed in completing and deploying
SKYSWEEPER, world commerce will grind to a halt. The airways will be at
the mercy of Bin Ladin’s terrorist demands. Almost any commercial flight
in the world can become a deadly bargaining chip in this high stakes game
of global economic blackmail. If SKYSWEEPER succeeds the very real possibility
of a global economic depression will ensue.
The State Department in concert with governments representing the United
Nations Security council have determined =1FS= is the only covert friendly
force with the background and expertise to deal with this threat. |
