OPPFOR Strike Force Alpha SFA
Mission SEEK/DESTROY ENEMY FORCE, CAPTURE & SECURE TOP SECRET TECHNOLOGY
Insertion/Extraction Black Widow Squadron. HALO Airborne insertion, C 141. C-130 extraction when AO secure
Background NSA, NASA and CIA have developed satellite and communications intelligence that confirms the existence of an ancient crash site in Antarctica. State Department and Allied government officials believe the origin of the wreckage to be that of an extraterrestrial spacecraft. It is imperative that friendly governments secure and recover the technologies & engineering components of the alien spacecraft for study and reverse engineering efforts. The wreckage is in surprizingly good condition. A "neutral government" has discovered the spacecraft and the crash site and has identical designs on recovering the technology in order to exploit it for their own agenda. Top Secret negotiations to cooperate with the "neutral government" in recovering and sharing the technology have failed. A military solution is the only availible option, due to the intractability of this "neutral government". CIA, the Pentagon and Allied intelligence organizations have connected SFA to the "neutral government" and have discovered that SFA is planning to execute a competing salvage mission. SFA is an expert military salvage combat unit. SFA's mission is organized for the purpose of recovering the salvage for the "neutral government". NSA and Pentagon Intel sections identify SFA funding and training as subsidized by the "neutral government". Top level analysis warns that if the "neutral government" is successful in recovering all the extraterrestrial technologies, the global balance of power will destabilize and the "neutral government" in question will become hostile to Allied agendas and interests. The State Department in concert with the governments of several Allied Nations have determined =1FS= is the only covert friendly force with the background and expertise to deal with this world destabilizing threat once and for all. Additionally, any reference to EXTRATERRESTRIAL components of this mission is not for public consumption and will be officially disavowed in the event of a security leak.
Objective Engage and eliminate the enemy forces at the crash site. Recover portable salvage and return it to identified waypoints for extract and transport to Area 51, the TOP SECRET Base at Groom Lake, Nevada. By destroying SFA and capturing the ET salvage, the threat of extraterrestrial technologies being inappropriately introduced to the global status quo, and the resulting destabilization of the balance of power, will be eliminated.
Intelligence Reports Pentagon Intel sections reports that SFA is comprised of well-trained SpecOps troops. Several have actual combat experience.

After Action Report Mission successful. =1FS= prevents *SFA* from salvaging sufficient alien technology. Neutral government’s plans fail. Global balance of power remains intact.

The Mission was intense. SFA is a military unit that specializes in conducting salvage operations while under heavy fire. =1FS= specializes in Search and destroy missions. =1FS= was disadvantaged from an experience perspective. The first conflict, a tie, resulted in the capture and salvage of 4 technological elements for each team. Heroic efforts by all members of the Bravo Team during the battle prevented this battle from becoming a rout! The 2nd action was decided by a more experienced SFA team. They were able to recover 5 salvage components before we could deliver our fourth. The 3rd action was the most intense of all. =1FS= fell behind early, battled back and won the match just seconds away from the possibility of a loss, as SFA had the possible winning component just 18m from their base. =1FS= showed courage, determination and the will to win when facing a far more experienced enemy. FWNQ! Firewalkers never quit!

No casualties. No Wounded In Action.

Bronze Star Medal for heroic action (MVP): Flect, Sweet

Purple Heart: His Own Mom, Hornet
