Mission SEEK AND DESTROY ENEMY FORCE, DESTROY ASSASSINATION SQUADS & TRAINING FACILITIES
Insertion/Extraction Black Widow Squadron. Helicopter fast rope insertion.
Background Joint European Intel agencies and CIA has intercepted intelligence that connects DELTA COMMANDOS BRAZIL (*DFBR-CD*) to mercenary activities, i.e., “Death for Sale”. CIA has identified the Medillian Drug Cartel as the faction that seeks to create an “open market” for their product worldwide… with their initial thrust targeted on the European continent. The Cartel's strategic objective is to create large drug dependent populations throughout Europe insuring profitability well into the 21st century. The Cartel must first destabilize European governments and European industrial infrastructure. By using sniper/hit-style warfare techniques to eliminate important political and industrial leadership personnel in several key major European cites they can acheive their goals. To Execute their plan, the Cartel has hired DFBR-CD to train, infiltrate and deliver deadly “Assassination team” type operatives to these key metropolitan areas in order to wipe out the financial and industrial brain trust of these cities. If the plan succeeds, hundreds of legitimate policy makers will die and the Cartel will move in to take over the financial and industrial infrastructure of these cities. The Cartel will then begin the OPEN marketing of their narcotic products. *DFBR-CD* is providing both physical security and commando style training at three Cartel run sites where the deadly force of “hitmen” are being trained. The State Department in concert with the governments of several European nations has determined that a Military/Political solution is in order. Additionallsy, the Euro Nations want to send a strong message to the Cartels.

=1FS= ALPHA TEAM (Europe) is the only covert friendly force with the personnel, the firepower and expertise to eliminate this world destabilizing threat.
Objective Engage and eliminate the enemy force at the bases where the Cartel runs training facilities, and where the deadly assassination teams train. By destroying DFBR-CD as they are protecting and training the Cartel’s death agents, both the assassination teams and their benefactors will be eliminated before the deadly plan can be unleashed on the targeted cities.
Intelligence Reports CIA reports that DELTA COMMANDOS BRAZIL (*DFBR-CD*) is comprised of ruthless Brazilian Spec Ops trained operators that have made the leap to the dark side. They will provide their killing skills to the highest bidder. They are without mercy or morals. Several have gained actual real-time combat experience during Brazilian black ops efforts in Colombia, Peru and Bolivia.

After Action Report Mission failure. Comando Delta victorious but weakened. 

The Mission was immediately compromised by a great deal of confusion during insertion. The first fire fight: =1FS= was ambushed and pinned down immediately. =1FS= Alpha Team withdrew to regroup and rally for the next encounter. The second action Alpha Teamregained composure but was unable to deal with the OPPFOR's superior knowledge of their terrain and was forced to withdraw once again. Out maneuvered by the opposition, Alpha Team engaged in a retrograde maneuver in order to inflict as many casualties as possible on the enemy as they secured their perimeter. This battle was lost in the rain forests of the Amazon.

No casualties. No Wounded In Action.

Note: =1FS= combined forces (an Alpha and Bravo Quick Reaction Force) mounted a surprise counter-assault immediately after the second Alpha withdrawal. This effort caught the jubilant Brazilians celebrating their victory and they were unprepared to face another fight. They were quickly dispatched by the =1FS= QRF. Because They lost so many resources defending their camps and the ultimate loss of this battle, the strategic result is that the cartels cannot now execute their European plan in the immediate future. They must delay. Europe will be safe... temporarily. As for the =1FS= Alpha Team? Another Day will come!
